the cats are worried. I smell like dog every morning and evening. Our neighbor broke her arm last week when she slipped on the icy street. Good girl that I am I offered to walk her dog every morning and evening and bring her a warm meal in the evening when I am cooking for the ghost.
The cats are very alarmed. My smell is not "right", so they vigorously rub their heads and sides on me to give me back the "right" smell. Do they know it's a dog, or does ist just smell liek a strange animal, possibly another cat? Do they even know what a dog smells like?
I just hope that when I am old and in need I have neighbors who will help me, too.
