Waiting

3 hours ago slave driver snuck up on me and gave me a friendly punch on the shoulder asking if I am available for a quick meeting in his office, he would only need 15 minutes to make a short phonecall. a second encouraging squeeze of my shoulder convinced me to agree to a brief meeting.

3 hours have passed, I have to leave in an hour for an appointment and he has made numerous phone calls in the meantime and talked to three other colleagues, and now is leaving with another colleague to screen a filmed interview before it's cut for our business tv.

Well, that's ok with me. I will leave whenever I have to leave, and will wait again tomorrow.
