Since flat boots are in fashion again I dug out my 10-year or older overknee-boots. I decided I was going to wear them today - of course not with those ridiculously short miniskirts, which look like slightly larger belts to me. After all I am not 17 any more. I am a "multiply 17-year old" already, so one of these skirts/belts would really look breathtakingly horrible.
But what happened? Where they used to flap around my legs they fit like a glove. Actually a very small glove. It seems my legs got "bigger" in the last 10 years. Gosh. So much for "aging in grace". Forget about that! I want my legs back!
OK, granted I still get in and I can wear them without cutting off my circulation completely, but nothing like 10 years ago. What's next? I thought the lines in my face were bad enough. And don't anybody tell me about how women in their 50's still look great. Don't even mention Sharon Stone or the likes. They don't count. They have make-up artists, personal trainers, food experts and all to make them look great. And they have the funds for all that. And don't you dare telling me they are natural beauties. Like hell they are! You might as well try telling me that the stork brings the babies, and the easter rabbit and Santa Claus are bringing the presents.
